Firstly happy birthday to hualin, who decided to born 24hrs ahead of me.
and secondly as we have discussed on the phone, we have decided to be kids till maybe we are 20years old!!

haha. i was thinking. just a thought and no more.
i wondered what was it like being in the shoes of those people who are the same aged as me, just that they dressed up, put makeup, making themselves look prettier and more mature.

will they:
1. look at people like me who still act like a kid saying i'm thankful i'm not like that.
2. or would they look at us and say, maybe i shouldnt have step across the line which defines me from looking more mature than them.

what do you think?

haha. yupp. being at seventeen with nearly 3 years or less to reach two decades of lifespan on this place called mother earth, i'm definately happy to be still acting like a kid, and really pray for the world to slow down to let me really taste every moment of what its like to be a child, to rejuvenate the thought of childish quarrelling where everyone turn from foe to friend in a matter of seconds. A time where it was more peaceful and innocent, a time where we are not bounded by anything like studies, works, commitment to friendship, law...etc. maybe only binded to our rightful owners, our parents.

when we grow up, parents somewhat leave the main lead of the scene of our lives, and redraws to be the backdrop, or play a part in the back stage. How truly saddenning it is? with more teenagers quarrelling and falling out with their parents, saying that parents do not understand them. Is it really the fault of the parents? Is it really the fault of the term called generation gap? or is it just us simply not making the effort to try to understand our parents, and trust them the way we had trusted like the time when we were learning how to walk, how to ride a bike that makes us prone to falling and injuring ourselves. If parents then could have brought us for more than a decade doing their best to protect us from harm, giving us the best things they can afford to express their love, why do we think that they cant deliver such a task now?

Being the oldest, and having a brother as young as 2, i must say, seeing how my parents take care of the youngest child really makes me rethink of what they did when i was as small as him. I guessed i'm fortunate to be able to witness all this, and if not for the birth of my youngest brother, i guess i would maybe perhaps be one who is rebellious, and would not have appreciated the stuff my parents have done for me.

Rearing up a child is not an easy feat, how about having 4? the way i see my mother tries to spread out her time equally to the 4 of us, and also my 2 cousins who comes daily, and my grandparents who are living here with us really makes me salute her. Not the fact that she still remains naggy to a certain extent, but the fact that she still continues to manage the house well.. i'm grateful for having such a wonderful mother. i love you mummy. and i'm really glad to be born in such a wonderful family. Crowded it maybe, but never will there be any room for loneliness.

Haha. so at the final moments of being 17, just around 24hrs to go, my final words are such.

"Treasure your love ones whatever maybe, lest to lose them and slum in agony.
Give thanks for having parents, to shower us with care and blessings.
Give your dad a hug, your mum a kiss, if not now then when will we give?
Lastly, let us thank God for quarrels, happiness, laughters as it indicates a lively family."

with this, i'm back to studying!!
